"Service" means the AI text detection platform available at aitextdetector.net, including its website, API, and related features.

"User" / "You" means any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service.

"Operator" / "We" means XinLi, the owner and operator of Aitextdetector.net, based in Laoshan District, Qingdao, Shandong, China.

"Credits" means the virtual units deducted from your account balance each time you submit text for detection.

"Subscription Plan" means a recurring billing arrangement that provides a monthly allocation of Credits and other benefits.

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and agree to comply with them. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Aitextdetector.net provides AI-generated content detection using multiple machine-learning models. The Service analyses submitted text and returns a probability score indicating the likelihood that the content was generated by an AI system. Results are provided for informational purposes only and should not be used as the sole basis for any consequential decision (e.g., academic disciplinary action).

We do not guarantee 100% accuracy. Detection results may vary depending on the nature of the text, the AI model used to generate it, and post-generation editing. We expressly disclaim liability for errors or omissions in detection outputs.

You must register an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for an extended period.

We offer free-tier access and paid Subscription Plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) via Paddle, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you authorise Paddle to charge your payment method at the applicable billing cycle.

All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy and Paddle's Buyer Terms.

You agree not to:

All intellectual property rights in the Service — including the website, platform software, detection algorithms, logos, and branding — are owned by or licensed to us. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except for the limited right to use the Service as described herein. You retain ownership of any text you submit; by submitting text you grant us a temporary, limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the detection service.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service you consent to our collection and use of personal information as described therein.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US (EXCLUDING AMOUNTS PAID TO PADDLE AS MERCHANT OF RECORD) IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless XinLi and Aitextdetector.net, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

Our Service integrates with third-party providers including Paddle (payment processing) and Supabase (authentication and database). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of material changes that affect paid subscribers. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by sending an email or displaying an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts located in Qingdao, Shandong, China, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
