Thank you for purchasing a subscription plan or credit pack on Aitextdetector.net. This Refund Policy explains how refund and withdrawal requests work for our service. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
2. Purchases through Paddle (Merchant of Record)
Where your payment is processed by
Paddle, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for your transaction. In that case, your purchase is governed by Paddle's legal terms, including the
Paddle Buyer Terms and the
Paddle Refund Policy, which form part of your agreement with Paddle.
You may submit a refund or withdrawal request within 14 calendar days from the date of your transaction, in line with the minimum period described in Paddle's Refund Policy and Buyer Terms (including country-specific rules where they apply). Eligibility, approval, and processing of refunds are determined by Paddle under those documents.
To withdraw from a transaction, cancel where applicable, or request a refund for a Paddle purchase:
- Use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your Paddle confirmation email.
- Submit a request via the support options on your receipt or billing page.
- Visit paddle.net and use the request flow described in Paddle's Refund Policy.
3. Purchases through Other Payment Methods
If you paid through a method other than Paddle (for example PayPal where offered), you may contact us at
[email protected] to request a refund within
14 calendar days from the date of your purchase. Please include your registered email address and order details. We will handle your request in accordance with applicable law and, where relevant, the rules of your payment provider.
4. After a Refund
If a refund is approved, access to the purchased detection credits or subscription benefits for that order will end and the corresponding credit balance will be adjusted to zero. The timing of the credit to your payment method depends on Paddle or your payment provider and may take several business days.
5. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time through the "Manage subscription" link in your Paddle confirmation email or by visiting your account settings on our website. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not automatically trigger a refund for the current billing period unless you are within the 14-day window described in Section 2. Any unused credits remaining at the time of cancellation will remain accessible until the end of the current billing period, after which they will expire.
6. Product Issues
If you experience persistent technical issues or a material problem with the service that prevents you from using what you purchased, please contact us at
[email protected]. We will investigate and, where appropriate, provide a remedy (credit restoration, service extension, or refund). For Paddle purchases, you may also contact Paddle's support as described in the
Paddle Refund Policy (including the section on technical or product defects).
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally not eligible for a refund:
- Credits that have already been consumed (used for detections).
- Purchases made more than 14 calendar days before the refund request, except where required by applicable law.
- Requests arising solely from a change of mind after the 14-day withdrawal period.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Paddle may also update its Buyer Terms and Refund Policy; the version that applies to your transaction is the one linked from Paddle at the time of purchase.
